statement of intent.

For my major project, I decided to a monochrome with colour theme. This will be done with photography. I have taken photos in different settings as I thought it would be interesting, for e.g, floral settings, everyday settings, etc. I got this idea from when I was doing my first project with Photoshop. This project is a portfolio of monochrome with colour, created with wix.com. I have had to use the Pixlr app for editing and wix.com for creating the portfolio website. I like to take photos basically anywhere. These are a couple of steps of how I improved taking photos and improved the photos themselves.

research into technologies and related resources.

Pixlr - Pixlr is a free (depending on which version you use) extension that you can have on any device. It is basically a version of the Adobe Cloud Photoshop. There are different modes on it, for e.g Pixlr E and Pixlr X.

Wix.com - Wix is a free website designer that can also be used on any device but in most if not all cases, it is easier to use of a device with a larger screen and/or a mouse. It has multiple templates and a variety of stickers, images, buttons and more.

S20 - An S20 is a model of a Samsung phone. It can call, message, take photos and more. It has a pen that clicks out the bottom to make taking notes extremely easy, just like how you can access the camera without unlocking the phone, you can use the notes. The camera quality is extremely good as you can see from the images taken for this project.

selection and justification of materials and resources.

For my project, I was using Adobe Photoshop but I stopped using that as my Chromebook wasn't compatible with it. The school has Abode Cloud subscriptions though unfortunately I didn't use them for this project. I was using the cameras that the school provided though I ended up using my dad's Samsung phone to take them. I was thankful that the school had the cameras though because it meant that I could get used to them and see how they work for the future, also I could practice my photography. I was originally going to use Canva.com for my project but then my teacher suggested Wix.com. I ended up using that because I found it easy to work with, I had to learn how to do somethings though.

development of ideas.

I got a lot of my ideas of the internet but off pinterest too.

modifications and problem solving.

I don't really think that I had too many problems throughout though there were some things that I needed to change. I my photo called 'more than one' I was originally intending to do just one flower though once I tested it out, I didn't really like the look. Also, as I showed in the individual project description and evaluation, I had to change the photo from just the eye to the whole of the face. This was in 'window to the soul'. I think that that was about it besides some lassoing that was a bit messy.

evidence of WHS and work safety practices.

Lighting - Workers must be able to have enough light without hurting their eyes or having to sit in uncomfortable positions to be able to see.

Work area - To avoid any injuries, the workplace must be free of clutter and objects that may classify as a slip and/or trip hazard. In case of an emergency, the worker must be able to get out quickly.

evaluation.

In conclusion, I am happy with my work and what I have learnt. I have learnt to

- look at things from different angles to capture great images

- invert images to make the opposite happen in a way

- flatten images when nothing else is working

- don't messed up when you are so close because then you have probably messed up the whole thing or you can press 'ctrl z'

- make mistakes...

...then fix them because then everything looks messy

I have learnt all these things in Multimedia and I kind enjoyed my first experience of being in this class. I have already got plans for my next assignment...
